Crochet Heart - Super Beginner Friendly Crochet Pattern
Hello there!
There is a detailed tutorial for the same on my YouTube Channel which you can check out here
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn really, I used a weight-3 acrylic yarn
Hook – Any or the recommended on the yarn, or size down by one or half a mm. I used a 4.5 mm hook.
Abbreviations:
mr – magic ring
st – stitch
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
tr – treble crochet
sl st – slip stitch
Pattern:
Magic Ring and Ch2
Round 1: Into the magic ring; 4 tr, 4dc, tr, 4dc, 4tr, ch2, sl st into magic ring, fasten off.
You'll have 17 stitches with two ch2 at the beginning and the end.
Alterations:
If you want to make changes in the pattern, you can do that by increasing the number of double crochet or treble crochet or both.
The increase in the starting and ending double crochets will make it a bit rounder at the top while as increasing the double crochets will make it bulge a bit at the bottom.
Making more stitches will make it stiffer.
This will accordingly alter the size and shape of the heart.
That's it! You have for yourself a crocheted heart.
I hope you had fun making it!
You can use this heart to accessorize your projects or make a string of those for decor!
