Daisy Bookmark - Easy Beginners Pattern


Hello!

So here is a simple and fun pattern for Daisy Bookmark the tutorial for which is already posted on my YouTube channel. Find the detailed tutorial here.

It is a simple project you can make, especially if you are a reader and need a cute bookmark or want to gift something to a bookworm!

Let's get started!

Materials:

Hook –   3.5mm and 2mm(opt.)

Yarn – Weight -3 acrylic yarn in white, yellow and green

Yarn needle

Scissors

Abbreviations:

mr – magic ring

st – stitch

ch – chain

inc – increase (2 stitches into the same space)

dc – double crochet

sl st – slip stitch


Pattern

The Flower:

In Yellow:

Magic Ring and Ch1 

Round 1 : 6 sc into the magic ring, sl st

Fasten off

Join the white yarn

In White:

Petal 1 : ch3, *(3dc, ch3, sl st, ch3) in one stitch

Repeat from * into each stitch to make the 6 petals

Fasten off


The Stem and Leaf:

With 2mm hook

Ch80

With 3.5 mm

sl st, sc, hdc, hdc, dc, dc, trc, trc, dc, dc, hdc. hdc, sc, sl st

Continue on the other side!



And you're done!
