Crochet Envelope Pattern + Tutorial | Valentines Day Crochet | Beginner - Friendly
Crochet a little love with this sweet Love Letter Envelope!
Perfect for Valentine’s Day, it’s a cute and thoughtful way to hold a heartfelt note, a small gift, or even a little treat. The envelope design, complete with a soft heart detail, is easy to make and full of charm. A simple, handmade way to show someone you care!

Materials:
Yarn – Weight 3 Yarn in two colors
Hook – 3.5 mm hook
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Measuring tape (optional)
Press Button (optional)
Sewing Needle (optional)
Thread (optional)
Abbreviations:
mr – magic ring
st – stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
trc - treble crochet
sl st – slip stitch
Pattern:
The Envelope:
Ch26
The opening of the envelope will be the size of the chain placed like a "V"
Watch the tutorial for reference.
Row 1: sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and all along - (25 sc)
Row 2 - Row 28: sc x 25 - (25 sc)
Or continue repeating till your work has the same length and breadth.
Mine measures 14cm x 14cm.
Make a row of sc around all the four sides of you piece with two sc in the corners.
Fold the three corners in and sew the sides till it looks like an envelope.
Add the press button on the flap and the joining part to be able to close it.
The Heart:
Magic Ring and Ch2
Round 1: Into the magic ring; 4 trc, 4dc, trc, 4dc, 4trc, ch2, sl st into magic ring, fasten off.
You'll have 17 stitches with two ch2 at the beginning and the end.
Fasten off with a tail.
Join the heart on top of the press button to hide it but still being able to close it!
And you're done!
