Strap:
In Blue:
We will have two straps. Join the yarn in one of the two corners on the top.
Ch85 (or as long as you want the strap to be).
Join with a sl st on the other corner of the same side of the bag.
Ch1
R1(on one side of the bag): hdc into every stitch on the granny square including the ch1- sp, corners and one in the joining point of the squares. Once you have covered the whole side of the square, you’ll reach the place where it is turning.
After making the hdc in the corner of the square you were working in, make an hdc in any space next to it, another hdc in the joining point of the two squares, and another hdc in any place before the corner of the next square.
You’ll have 3hdc before working in the next corner.
Continue working hdc into the side of the next square till you reach the corner.
Ch85 (or whatever you had made for the first strap)
Join with a sl st on the other corner of the same side of the bag.
