The Bow:
The pattern for the bow is here
Use the same hook that you used for this book sleeve.
The Final Assembly & Decoration:
- Using the tail of the bow, sew it onto the center of your Granny Square.
- Pin the Granny Square to the front of the book sleeve. Using a tapestry needle and the long tail, sew around three sides, leaving the top open as a pocket. Ensure you only sew through the front layer of the sleeve!
- Sew one half of the press button to the underside of the flap and the other half to the main body where it naturally rests.
- Weave in all loose ends using your tapestry needle.
Your Butterscotch Book Sleeve is now complete!
